Small rain storm, by myself at the mast in the dark, boat rolling around in 6ft-waves, I’m pulling down the main sail so that we can motor in against challenging 26-knot north winds. Even though we’re about to be under motor (boo), and it’s dark, and I’m clinging on to the mast, I’m cold and spray is slapping me in the face, I am smiling.
Dude. I think I might be a sailor.
